Hey everyone. As you may know, I am headed to Botswana this summer for a little less than 8 weeks. After changing my major to International Studies with an emphasis in Global Health, I decided that it was imperative to study abroad. I knew I wanted to do something health based, so I began to look at study abroad programs in the health field. I narrowed it down to Costa Rica or Botswana. As much as my dad wanted me to travel to Costa Rica so he could come visit, I decided that I was Botswana Bound.
I will be leaving in June for 5 weeks of cultural emersion, classes and community projects, 1 week of rural clinic work, and 1 week of safari. I will try to post a new blog every week, but internet access can be touch and go. so Sala Sentle for now. (Goodbye/stay well)
